I have a 98 Mountaineer and have replaced the front arm rest above the center consel, three times. People tend to get in a vehicle and use it to adjust themselves into the seat and SNAP. Grrrr. Not a cheap part to replace at all!
AND now that I have had the vehicle paid off for a few months, the driver's door has a feature that allows me to unluck all four doors with a double turn to the right in the exterior driver's door. All of a sudden, this feature has quit working and the door "dinger" is dinging all the time while the driver's door is open (getting in or out). This is the sound I used to hear when I left the keys in the ignition or left the lights on. And now it appears only to happen when I have the driver's door open. Hmmmmm. I have disconnected the battery in an attempt to reset the computer, and I have checked the fuses.....anyone have any ideas for me????
