ABS light on

2003 Merc. Moutaineer.
I have been getting the ABS light on. It happened one day when it snowed hard, then eventually went off. Today (heavy rain) it happened again. Staying on solid right now. Is there some kind of diagnostic code I can find? Anyone know what it could be?

Reading a bit online. Could be the wheel sensor.
Anyone know how difficult it is to replace the ABS wheel sensor on the front and rear?
Also, is there a way to get diagnostic codes from your Merc?
I also have a dodge, and you can get the error codes from the ignition.
