best car top carrier for Mountaineer '09

Hi, Could someone share some advice on mounting a car top carrier on the roof of a Mountaineer '09? I'm wondering about interference with the moon roof and also how easy it is to adjust the cross bars. The cargo carrier I'm concerned about is found here: http://www.cartopcarriershops.com/NNRIDGEBOX.html. I'm thinking if I shift the carrier to the way back it would be less likely to obscure the moon roof, but wondering if others have some experiences that would be helpful. Thanks!

check the fit guide at the manufacturer.

You may have to get additional accessories for it to work with your ride.

Thule is the way to go in my opinion.

I have a gorgeous color matched Thule that stops just above the edge of the moonroof. Makes it nice as I can see it when I'm driving and can keep an eye on it, but it's not distracting in the least. It's the Atlantis 2100XT, their biggest one, and boy can you stuff that thing full. REI's price is $649, I walked into a one-day sale at Dicks Sporting Goods and got it new for $350.

Here's a shot of the one I have:

You might want to go one size smaller with the 1800XT, this one just blocks my satellite antenna but I get good enough coverage that it doesn't really impact my reception.

Thanks all for the input. That was super timing on the Dick's rack.
