anyone been using E85 in your v6 flex engine? we don't have any around here but what have you experienced with it?

Wow, it's been a long time since I've posted in here! Yes, there is ONE E-85 station in my area and I've filled up with it when it was 40 cents cheaper than 87. Now that it's the same price, it's not worth it.

It runs more like a V8 with it! There's a NOTICEABLE difference in power, but you WILL suffer in gas mileage! I just got 400 miles out of one tank this past week on 87 octane! For awhile I was getting 370 or so miles on 87 - On E85, it would get MAYBE 290-300 miles, and that was mostly interstate/hwy [img]smileys/smiley6.gif[/img]

If it were $2 a gallon, I'd be fillin' up with it, but oh well [img]smileys/smiley5.gif[/img]
