I just bought an 03 Mountaineer (V8 AWD) with 20,000 miles and20 inch rims on it. I am getting 13.5 miles to the gallon and even on the highway it only gets up to 14-15 mpg. How much of a difference does the tire size make. The rims and tires on it cost $2500 and they look great, but if I can bump my MGPup I might consider reducing the size. Also, is there anything else I might do to increase gas mileage? Thanks in advance.

I've got an 03 that I got with only 9400 miles...it's up to 18200 or so
and with 80% interstate driving at 70-75, I get about 16.7MPG, so
you're not going to get THAT much better with it < =""><!--
