I have been given the opportunity to purchase a 2003 Mountaineer V8 Premiere. It has 56,000 Miles and in great condition. It will be $10,000 and the current owner has offered to put on New tires and align the vehicle as it is a little off. My question is there common things that fail outside the norm on Mountaineers? Is there any thing I should look for? I am very mechanically inclined and do most of my own work unless costs from a dealership make it worth my while.
