any recent running through water? sounds like an electrical issue, but it could also have been a bit of bad gas, sucked up a plastic bag over the air intake (would have fallen off when the engine stopped), or a couple other things. The codes stored in the computer from this may shed more light on it. Autozone (as well as other parts stores) tend to read codes for free to help their customers get the right parts.

also, did you notice any high temps happening with the coolant or oil pressure drops? Anything else you can tell us will help shed more light one what may actually have happened.

That's funny i just fueled up at a gas station that i never been to before not a well known brand. No drop in oil pressure or overheating the car runs really good.and i drove it to work today all was fine no problems that i saw ran smooth all day long maybe you are right about the cheap gas.also the drivetrain warning light never came back on.So maybe all is good i hope

Thank you slymer from what i see just coming in to check new post you are so very helpful to the members here, again thanks man.

I'd have the codes checked anyhow. It could indicate what happened and may indicate a soon to need fixed issue.
