Default Spark Plug

Advance Auto recommends replacing my plugs with some plugs that run $12 each! They do have some Motorcraft (SP462) plugs for about $8, but still! I am used to paying a buck or two for spark plugs. Am I just out of touch? Has anyone tried any "regular" plugs and gotten good results? If so, what plugs, and where did you get them?

My first post, Thanks in advance!

I generally use regular autolite resistor plugs in my cars and don't have any issues. I generally tell folks with completely stock engines to use motorcraft or autolite.
