Can you tell me more about the "inertia switch". Is that something that Ford should have fixed for me?

It is a floating switch Ford came up with to shut off the fuel pump on alot of there cars, mostly trucks, during accidents. Although they''re really only supposed to trigger when the vehicle rolls over, a really good bump or defects have been known to set them awry. But I would like to recant my entry on this as a possible culprit. A simple reset would remedy the situation so I would take that part name off your list. Sorry, I may have been reaching out of frustration there. Let''s not give up ''cause there is some dumb part giving us grief! LOL! Any other useful info yo could provide?
