Transmission and Heated Seat
 

I have a 2004 mountaineer and was wondering how do you check the transmission. Also my driver side heated seat stop working, the light still comes on in the dash but the seat doesn't heat up. How can i check this to see whats wrong. I've also looked at the fuse but looks good.
