Default unplugged ABS wheel speed sensor

hey, im wondering if it is ok to drive with the ABS wheel speed sensor unplugged. t

the problem: abs intermittently activates whether it's a right-hand turn. the abs speed sensor was replaced around a year ago, i ordered one from 1A auto and went to replace it but when i removed it they did not match. if you were to google it i got the whole driver side harness "attached on the top of wheel fender runs down the column and into wheel hub" you can see what they sent, but what i removed was the style that looks as it needs to be installed then attach the wire to it. so its like theyre 2 different style. one is all one round size about 5/8" long the other "new one" was round at base then tapers flat and is about 1/4" longer.

05 mountaineer 4,0l AWD

when it is unplugged i have service ADVTRAC and AWD disabled in the message center

i just dont want to mess anything else up like the front diff.

so just from thinking what would happen is i wont have ABS which im fine with and the AWD wont work which im also fine with.

any other insight into this will be appreciated.

thanks
