Again, for future information seekers...

The Mystique is basically the same car as the Ford Contour. Some of the Contour SVT parts areeasily adapted for use on the Mystique V-6.

The SVT exhaust system is nearly a direct bolt with the addition of a passenger side muffler hanger from a Ford Taurus. Looks & sounds very cool.

The side skirts for the Contour can be bolted on, and the SVT skirts will also fit, but look a bit odd with the Mystique bumper covers. You may be able to adapt SVT bumper covers to match the whole set, but they''re getting scarce these days. Bumper covers may even be a direct bolt on also.

The best mod I''ve done on my Mystique was the suspension system. Mine suspension was getting old anyway, so I installed a BAT kit ( www.batinc.net) . Out-freakin''-standing handling mod. Lowers the car about an inch and makes it look tits with a set of 17" multi-spoke wheels. I have the ST-200 wheels from Europe with nice fat BF Goodrich 225/45-17 G-Force Sport tires. Gonna try General UHP tires next. Want pictures? Send me an e-mail.

A somewhat more involved mod is a 3L engine swap. This requires a re-tune of your engine computer, so don''t even try it unless you''re prepared to spend a bundle for tuning.
