I HAVE A 1996 MYSTIQUE WITH A 2.O AND AUTO TRANY. I HAVE90000 MILES ON IT.WHEN THE CAR IS IN GEAR IT IDLES ROUGH THE TAC SHOWS ABOUT 500 RPM.WE PUT A SCANER ON IT AND NO CODES CAME UP.ALSO WHEN DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD AT A STEADY SPEED THE CAR SURGES.SOMETIMES WHEN IT IS COLD YOU START THE CAR IT RUNS ROUGH AND DIES WHEN YOU TRY TO RESTART IT IT IS FLOODED AND TAKES A WHILE TO GET IT STARTED.THANKS FOR YOUR HELP.

 

LOcate the IAC and give it a good cleaning. This happens only in gear?
