Transmition pan leak on Mystique 1999
#2
looks like you need a transaxle pan gasket. be sure all pan bolts are tight first. Not cranked down tight, but decently snug. Don't tighten them one after another. Do one at 12 o'clock, then6 o'clock, 3 o'clock, then9 o'clock etc.

Thanks a lot conan312.I was able to isolate the drip actually - it is from a some kind of a seal on the frontleft side of the transmition (if you are looking from the drivers seat). I hope on the picture that can be seen. It is not leaking where the green arrows are pointing, but where the red one is.
What is this? I can not find any description about it.
Thanks a lot.
