I bought it from a guy named Wanye, he is from New Jersey, only minutes from whereI live right now. The car was originally ownedby an older couple that bought thecar brand new in NewJersey back in the late 70's.Wayneknew the couple and it took him 8 years of persistences to finally get the couple to part with the Monarch. He owned it for about 6 years the put about 2500 miles on it, then putit up for sale (this was oneof the many immaculate cars in his large collection). I saw the car 3 days afterhe originally put it up for sale, and at that secondI knewI needed to own it, and I now do...

I have quite a few plans for this car, some engine build up work... TodayI mounted a new Audiobahn CD player under the dash and am now working on installing new speakers, being thatit was from the 70's, all it had was a AM radio with a single speaker in the center of the dash (I am trying to keep the car as stock as possible so I decide to keep the original AM stereo intacked)... I will be driving the car often and a decent stereo system is a good investment.

Well I am planning on giving a real good cleaning and wax job this weekend and will be posting a few new pics... so check back.

Awesome keep us updated. I think its a great idea to hide updated stereo systems and leave the stock look good choice..
