My 2000 Mercury Cougar won't start. I've read many of the other posting on this and other forums and it sounds like others have had similar problems, but no clear solutions. Background - the engine light came on. Car felt like is wasn't getting gas - felt like is was sputtering, went out. Haven't been able to start it since.We've checked and replaced spark plugs, intermenten coils, replaced the fuel pump...to no avail. About to put it on diagnostic machine...


Does anyone have a definitive answer as to how they solved this problem?
