Just wanted to know if anyone else is having this problem. Got mine in Feb. this year, a couple months later when the vehicle would idle, and you would start driving it would make a whistling noise all the way in the back, it almost sounds like it is a hydrolic in the rear window. Now it does it any time, it doesn't matter if you are just getting in it at the beginning of the day. I can't really describe the sound. Of course when we took it to be looked at, it didn't make the noise. Anyone else having this problem. Thanks.

Yes, I am having exactly this problem. Sometimes it doesn't do it. It does it on takeoff sometimes & others it is between 25 & 40 mph. It only goes for a couple of seconds. Sometimes if I hit the brake it will stop, but as soon as I push the gas it does it again until I get over 40 mph. It is like a high pitched buzz/whistle. Also, sometime it just does a real quick noise that sounds like a cop is right behind you & flips their siren on & off real quick, like they do when they are trying to get through a small crowd. I am in the same boat with the servicing. I had a couple of bad tire sensors & when I took it to be fixed they drove it & no noise, but as soon as I got back to my hometown - 30 minutes away - it started right up again.

Does Your MTN Have Rear A/C? If So The Noise Is Comming From The "TXV"(Thermostatic Expansion Valve) - Its Sits BehindThe 3rd Row Seats In The Side Panel. Hope This Helps.

Yes, mine has rear air & when I told the dealer about my noise they even asked that question. I just assumed that they checked it out & nothing was wrong. Do you have any idea why it does this or what needs to be done to fix it??

The"TXV"(Thermostatic Expansion Valve) Needs To Be Replaced, With A New Style Valve. The Valve Itself Is A Small Box About The Size Of A Pack Of Cigarettes. There Is A Brass Plug In The Bottom That Leaks Out Freon (a/c juice),and collects air. the slight amount of air in the systemmakes it whistle. Anyway. If Your Vehicle Us Under Warranty Its A Free Repair. Ask Your Local Dealer To Run An "Oasis Report" And Check For TSB's. Repairs Take About 1/2 A Day. Edited by: LM_ServiceAdv

That you so much for your response. I have contacted my service department as it is still under warranty & hopefully you have offered enough information to me that I have directed them to the correct problem. Nevertheless, I thank you for at least trying!!!
