I have a 97 Tracer that has run fine for months, but today I fired it up and made it about half a block before it died and refused to start. The engine turns, and when I turn the key on I can hear the fuel pump. I have no idea what could be wrong. I was thinking it might be the fuel pump inertia switch, if this is the case could someone please tell me how to reset it? It wasn't in a crash, but I did have alot of stuff in the trunk the night before it developed it's problem. Any info is much appreciated, Thank you!! Update- I pulled a spark plug and there is spark, also the cylinder smelled of fuel.... Why won't it ignite?Edited by: russ.hudson
