98 grand marquis engine wont turn over
#1
I changed my intake manifold and now the engine wont turn over.First I checked everything simple like batery, cabels, starter, all good. I pulled the intake manifold off to back-track and see if something fell intoone of the holes, I cant see s___t!!!I pulled all 8 plugs and tried to turn the engine over by hand.The Crankshaft Pulleywould not go clockwise at all but it went back about 3/4 of a turn and then "CLUNK", 3/4 clockwise then, "CLUNK". It wont do a full turn over. Something is "CLUNKING" from the passenger rear of the engine.  ;
Any ideas???? Thanks, Jimmy
P.S. Car ran fine before this, just a hair-line crack in the intake manifold.((Shoulda'' left it alone, at least I was ridin''))

you''ll probably have to pull the head off and get whatever fell in there out of the engine and check that head and piston for damage. as long as it didn''t damage any of the valves, I don''t think there should be any issues. Minor scoring/dents on the top of the piston should matter much.
