Axle tag identification help

Hey Boys,
I just rescued a 1997 Mercury Grand Marquis, my wife’s grandfathers old car. I’ve got her back on the road, but I can’t decide the rear differential tag. Any help would be appreciated. The tag reads as follows:
3 S 054 J
3.27 8.8 7E27

thank you for the assistance

You have the FORD 8.8-inch Differential.
The differential gear ratio is 3.27-to-1, which is the stock ratio for cars equipped with the "Trailer Tow" package.
Standard gear ratio for "regular" models of Panthers is 2.73-to-1.
