Have 95 gm with dome lights going on and off,car is off key is out doors are closed.pulled the number 8 fuse to stop it.really doesnt solve problem.now for the transmission,car starts good put it in rev. doesnt move its like it n,put it in d dont move put it l doors lock and it moves shift to r it works.Being in MI the cold weather maybe.Now for 2000 sable,the engine light came on about 2 weeks ago.run good but it stalls when its in park,at a stop.I usually drive with both feet so I can keep the car running.any help wood be good. the dome light in the car might b e as simple as door jamb switch,as for the trans. sound like the saftey switch (apply brakes before shifting out of park might be bad ) just a guess on that one thats where i would look first if the fluid looks good and is full.as for the sable if you have an advance or autozone around you they can pull the codes for you that'll give you a place to start on that stalling problem . if you were round here i'd just have you stop buy the shop and i'd pull the codes for you.. but those parts stores will do them for you i wish you luck any more questions feel free to let me know.
