First Marauder

Just bought a 2003 Marauder. 8900 miles and I could not be happier. What a great car. Only thing I have had to do is new tires, put on a cold air intake and I had to replace the rear spoiler(cracked).

Otherwise the car is perfect, looking forward to this summer driving season.....

Hello, 'Hog -- Welcome to the Mercury Forums.
Looks like you hit the Jackpot -- a Marauder with only 9,000 miles is a rare beast !!
Cold Air Intakes are a popular subject here -- seems like everybody wants one, but most of 'em are either too expensive or don't work like they should.
I did research for a few years before settling on a Cold Air Package of my own design, and it works very well in all respects.
Show off your Marauder by posting some pictures -- especially the engine bay -- show your Cold Air Intake, please. ;>)

I'm in Phoenix, Arizona -- the 95 MERC Restoration is set up for long-distance cruising at high speeds throughout the mountains and deserts of the
American Southwest. Most of the modifications are with the exhaust, suspension, and brake systems.

I'll help you any way I can -- it helps to know which city you're in, 'cause climate makes a big difference when planning modifications.

I live in SE Michigan about 40 mins south of Detroit. Bought the car at an auction about 2 months ago....Great find for sure. The air intake I installed is a K&N. I really enjoy driving it for sure. I also have a 96 Impala SS with 16K miles on it. The two cars make a nice set.....although the Marauder is a heck a lot faster for sure.
