Hey folks, just signed up tonight. The Father in Law just moved in (yeah...I know) he gave us some cash to buy a car so my wife can driver him around. In the past we have owned a P71 that my wife loved. So we searched high and low but could not find anything in the budget but we found a 1999 Grand Marquis LS. I warned my wife that this will be NOTHING like the P71 but she wanted to check it out. We took it to a mechanic, got the lowdown on the condition of the car then bought it. So far, so good. It's a great car.

A P71 is a Crown Victoria Police cruiser. If you ever get a chance to get one... jump on it.

Oh gotcha never new that was the designation for those.
so I always wondered whats the story on those how many miles do they drive those until they auction those off?

Spruce Green with a light gray/blue clothe interior. It has the teardrop wheels. I don't know how long the run the Crown Vic's before they sell them but I know a guy at work that has a P71 with over 300,000 miles on it.
