Hi, this is Michael and i´m from Germany. I drive a Ford Taunus Coupé from ´74, a Ford Mustang Convertible from ´97 and a Mercury Grand Marquis from 1996

Well, Wilkommen! What kind of engine in the Taunus? V4 or V6? Greetings!Edited by: 92Mercury |
it´s a V6 2800ccm and 160 PS, Automatic
|
Yeah Baby! This engine has been around forever, and the block is still being used in todays' Fords (Explorer!). More stroke makes it a 4.0 liter. Greetings! |
well, good idea!!
we´ll see! where do you come from? you are german? |
I'm curious: How much do they ask for a MGM over there? I've never seen one around. And how about taxes, is it Euro2? Last but not least: what's your fuel mileage? The car is rated 17mpg city/25mpg highway (13,6 liter/100 km or 9.25 liter/100km). A bargain for a big car like that. Thus, this is under the driving conditions over here. Wonder how you're doing over there. Let us know, thanks. Here's the technical spec sheet for the vehicle, in case you're interested (again, it's a PDF file, ZIP converted due to upload restrictions): 1996MGMSpec.zip Greetings!Edited by: 92Mercury |
ya, it is Euro2!
i can´t say everthink about the fuel mileage with fuel, because the car is driving with LPG. Look here: http://www.verbrauchsrechner.de/inde...wfill&vehi cle=4928 thank you for the technical sheet! and please, answer my questions!!! |
You are driving it with LPG? Really? Must live in a congested area. If you go down south, hardly any pumps with LPG available. So you don't drive it with gasoline at all??? Greetings! |
ya, really!
live in nort of germany. i drive the most time with lpg, gasoline only to start engine |
An alternative, no doubt. Seen your pm? Greetings! |
