Thought I'd post up a note as to what I have.

I have a 1998 Grand Marquis with 165K on it that my wife is now the driver of and I recently bought a 2006 Grand Marquis Ultimate with 17K miles on it. After having the 98 and driving it for 4 years (my daily commute of 110 miles) I couldn't imagine driving anything less.

The old (100K miles in the photos):

The new (dealer photos, weather hasn't permitted any of my own yet):

To me, the newer ones just don't look as good as my 98 does. At least any other than white. Even the white one doesn't have that "elegant" look about it. I may get some fender flashings and see if that dresses it up a bit. But, for $12K @ 17K miles, I can't complain. The ride, power, tach and sunroof make up for the little bit of lack luster it has compared to the old one.

thats a sweet ride...heck the red one looks nice man!

Nice price too for that one...Seems people just don't want big cars anymore, but for the mileage you get and the room just can't beat them.

Grab you some tint for the windows and that car will change dramatically...you won't believe how much different it will look....more dignified hahha
