Hi. I'm new to this sight and just got a few questions. I am looking into getting a 2000 Mercury Cougar. I was just wondering what type of problems has anybody had with this type of car? If they are reliable and also if you had the chance would you get another one

well hello and welcome 2000 cougar huh ! not too bad my wife had a 99 wasn't bad biggest problem with it was it had an issue with the brake lights ...not the most powerful car out there in that price range make sure all the maitenance has been done on it if it hasn't when they start to get miles on them they go down hill fast and start to get pricey on repairs..we sold her 99 and bought her a 94 xr7 cougar she's much happier now if you still get the 2000 try to get one that's a 5-speed it'll be more fun to drive...........have fun with your purchase....
