New member-purchased a used rental that lived in Michigan from a local Chicagoland CarMax. It was purchased in Sept '06 with 25K miles. Now at 42K. We have had no troubles with it. I am amazed how quite it is. DOHC, full leather trim with all those digitial things. Just got a great deal on changing the winter coolant so we did it now. Cost was $70. I figure $70 every 50K isn't bad. We purchased an extended warranty so I want to keep up on the maintenance. Anything I need to know? We also just got an 2002 Saturn so I am learning about both cars. Not to much you can do these days in driveway repairs. Looking over the forum, the troubles seem rather minor, not like my Jeep days.

Buying a used rental can not be a bad deal. They maintain their cars regularly, and with the additional warranty, you can get yourself a good buy.


And yes, the Sables are very quite, much quieter than their counterparts Taurus.
