I ran across a 1965 Park Lane in decent shape but stored outdoors in GA for past 5yrs. Its a 4 door hardtop with a Marauder fastback. The trunk is rusted thru probably due to water from rear cowl vent drains. I assume the rear cowl is part of the "flow through ventilation" advertised for these cars - which is an interesting concept but looks like trouble to keep debris and water out! The drain "hoses" (?) at the bottom of the cowl pan have been separated from the body (rodents) and rain water pours in behind the rear seat, settling in the truck pan and rear floor pans.
- does anyone know where to get replacement "drain hoses"?
- does anyone have a soft copy of general service manuals?
65 Park Lane with plenty of mold/dirt/etc from 5yrs outdoors under GA pines... rear cowl panel is below back glass and in front of trunk lid
cowl vent "drain hoses" are located above spare tire compartment
view from behind rear seats, black rubber (drain) hoses have been eaten thru by rodents I guess
