Hello & good day to all here, I'm new to this whole forum thing so please forgive me for anything that I may do wrong, Or for any late replies. The name is Joat, & I figured that I would share my experience dealing with this new addition to our family. 1st let me say that coming from a full size big boy toy, (97 f350 xl cc). fuel....happy. The van was purchased with 172000 with check engine light on for the knock sensor, Changed the knock sensor & then all of these other issues started showing, Anything from a no start to evap readiness monitors not being ready. Seems to be all electrical. The van seems to be of a solid powertrain (nissan), but there is a definite need of (Job) patience. I'm not looking forward to the timing chain/water pump replacement, but me & my safe before sorry thoughts keep me busy, but also saving money. I complete all of my own work on any of my owned vehicles. So this post is more so a hey hello everybody, I do plan on keeping this vehicle for another 20000 miles. Which in my lifestyle I can run that up real quick. But with in due time I do plan on a lot of custom mods as well as regular maintenance. I guess you can say that this will be my daily driver/project vehicle. Looking to do something different, & then pass it on to my Son. I'm open to any suggestions or opinions or education in regards to repairs & modifications. peace & Love
