This morning my Villager started missing. It got
worse as I drove it to work. No check engine light
came on. It started after work and did the same thing
getting worse as I drove home. I replaced the fuel filter
and it still is doing it. Enough to where it dies at idle.
Any help would be appreciated.

when it is dark outside, use a spray bottle if necessary, look at the plug wires for an electrical storm. if necessary, mist some water on wires to help see it. sounds like a plug wire might be bad or a plug is loose/bad. i have known of cars that ran like crap and plug was loose and detonated from loose plug and also because of a plug wire melted at some area causing it to arc.

Changed plugs and wires and still running rough.
Does the 1999 villager have a coil? If so, where is it?
Thanks,

Ifound the problem. It was the distributor bearings.
They were shot. Now I have a code 1105. At least it is running now.
