Sable automatic transmission slippage
 

My 1994 Mercury Sable wagon was imported into the U.K. back in the 1990's and has been stuck in France for the past six years due to automatic transmission slippage. All attempts to find a French or German automatic transmission specialist who could possibly repair it have proved unsuccessful ! If any one knows of a suitable U.S. automatic transmission specialist then please let me know. The Sable was being used for towing about 750 kg / 1650 lbs when failure occured.
