02 Sable GS wagon rear wiper problem.
 

I just bought this 2002 Sable GS wagon. The rear wiper didn't work and the washer just dribbled washer fluid into the cover on the inside of the tailgate. Popped off the cover and discovered that the tube going to the washer nozzle was disconnected. I reconnected that but haven't tested it yet. The rear wiper didn't work, so I want to fix that problem first.

What I need to know - both for troubleshooting and for the repair - is how to separate the electrical connector. It's in a pretty awkward spot and I don't know what to push or squeeze to separate the part from the witing-harness side from the part wired to the wiper motor. As soon as I can separate the two parts of the connectors, I can find out if the motor is getting power and ground.

Can anyone help?
