Hello there. Our 1989 Sable station wagon has started experiencing what seems like transmission slipping. Fluid is clean and good. Car will start moving then disengage, then reengage. When this happens, there is very noticible vacuum sound in the dash. When stopped, the vacuum sound is louder as you shift from OD, D, 1st. Hard to see under the dash, but there are vacuum lines going to a module on the column. Although I can't locate a specific leak or loose line, I do feel air and with my hand in different positions around the dash module the air sound changes. Heading to the library to get a manual. Please let me know if you know what might be going on here.
