I have a 1990 sable and was wondering if anyone knows how to change the lights in the door? I tried turning the bulb but it did not turn

 

Thus the manual doesn't state whether to turn the socket or just pull it out, by looking at below diagram, looks like it's one of those "pull-push" sockets. Just be carefully trying. If it is the first time the socket is removed, it might be tight, remember, 17 years in the same place.
