My girlfriend bought a 1999 mercury sable 2 days ago from a used car dealer here in new hampshire. Today we went for a 100 mile trip and on our way back we started to experience trans issues. It started to slip slightly and got gradually worse to the point where it wont even shift out of 1st gear. Does anyone know what this might be or are we gonna have to put a tranny in it?????
