Irecently boughta 2001 sable with the 24V durotec engine. It has only 9000 miles on it. In the last three days, there have been two occassions when the car simply would not start. It turns over fine, but will not fire. After about an hour of setting, it then started. Any suggestions? Dealer can find no codes. Car runs fine on the road--once it starts.

Beinga 2001 w/ 9000 miles on it I'm guessing the car sat for some time. Does it happen after driving or when the engine is cold?

It would not start once after driving 200 miles and once after sitting in my garage for a couple of hours after driving.

I'm guessing its a intermittant fuel delivery problem. Maybe vapor lock? How has it been since the two times it didn't start?

Took it to the dealer, checked out ok. When we took it home, the same thing happened: would not start for almost 3 hours, then popped right off and ran fine; back at the dealer now.
