When driving at night with autolamp mode set, the headlights occasionally turn off. I can turn the lights back on by switching to manual headlights. The localmercury dealer can find nothing wrong. Any thoughts? thank you.

Have the same problem with our 99, just started doing it in the last couple months. The dash lights and parking lights stay on but headlights don't. Not sure what it is but I know something failed.
