2003 Sable Fuses - Wires or GEM?
 

I have an 03 Sable that keeps blowing fuses. I replace them, they blow again. I lose the fuse (36) for turn signal and back up lamps. Replace it. It blows again an hour later. Then I lost wipers, windows, locks, radio. I took it to a mechanic who said it was fuse (16) for the GEM box. He replaced 36 and 16. An hour later 36 blows again. One mechanic thinks it is the GEM box is bad and must be replaced, another thinks it's a wire that's chaffing and shorting out.

Anyone have this issue? Thoughts or Insight? What are the points that wires typically fray or have problems?
