Okay, I give, where the heck is the fuse box? Dash lights don't work, and I think (hope) it is just a fuse.

Next weird thing: Why do the wipers stop in the upright position? They won't park under the hood flashing...

There is most likely 2 fuse panels in that vehicle one under the dash and one under the hood without a manual its going to be hard to tell which fuse block your looking for..


As for the wipers when they park in the upright postion its 99% of the time you have a bad wiper motor.

pull the handle that says fuse box under the kick plate or under


the dash right under the wheel that you turn the car with lol...

I did locate the one under the dash, by that funny thing I use to direct the car in the general direction I want to go...


Now if I can figure out how to get the cover off without breaking it. I think the last person that had didn't want thier spouse to get in there and switch the fuses around...

Try the dimmer switch. The fuse that takes care of the dash lights usually takes care of other things too.

Well, found out why the dimmer switch wasn't working. First, I replaced the fuse that had blown, after pulling all of them, and WOW the dash lights work! WooHoo! Then my wife went to get my daughter from school and complained that the dimmer switch didn't work. No big deal to me, I like 'em bright. Well, the next day, she looks at me, sheepishly, and tells me the reason the dimmer switch wasn't working was because she thought the vent control, was the dimmer switch.


The things we find out about cars we buy blindly. Now, can someone tell me why Ford makes their heater hoses the way they do? They start with a 5/8th hose, condense it down to a tiny hose using a clamp that no normal person can replace. I have a tiny pin hole in the upper heater hose and the easiest way to replace it is to replace the entire hose with 5/8th. Of course, those darn springs clamps are a pain too....

you can use a hot glue gun and just melt some glue on it.
