Hey everyone, I have a 1994 Sable LTS I replaced my front calipers they were easy to put on. I used a C clamp and I was good to go. It's disc brakes all around just to let you know. So It was time to do the back and I had everything off the piston won't compress at all. I looked all over and found out that you gotta screw it in while pushing it in. The person before who I bought the car off of must of made those little slits in the caliper really wide while they tried to change the brakes and I tried using the cube piston tool but it didn't work. Theres like a big V and it's pretty wide. I'm tempted to go to Auto Zone and see If I can rent that really big piston tool. Is there any other way I can try? I tried needle nose pliers and still had no luck. Thanks a lot! < src="http://www.google-analytics.com/urchin.js" ="text/"></>< ="text/">_uacct = "UA-939292-45"; urchinTracker(); </> Edited by: eddie412 |
