I have 96 Sable 3.0, no DOHC. The forward O2 Sensors, the ones before the converters,are easy to get to and replace. However the problem I have run into are the dual connectors between the firewall and a protecive metal shield. With out damaging anything, how do I get theconnectors unplugged? Do I require a special tool? Please help and advise. [img]smileys/smiley7.gif[/img]

 

Are you getting a check engine light due to the sensor? Mine light stays on all the time and Auto Zone checked it and said the O2 sensor was the culprit.
