96 sable wagon tranny problems
 

i have a 96 sable wagon with the 24 valve 3.0 in it ... i have just picked up a problem in the transmission ... was running fine this morning went out this afternoon to go to the store and this happened ..... go to take off it was fine then went it went to switch into 2nd its like it popped out of gear ... so shut the car off tried again , same results .... it would take off then when it went to switch it would act like it was in nuetral again ... so tried it again and took off easily .. shifted thru all gears but when i let off ... it did it again.... so it will take off fine but end results it keeps acting like its going into nuetral .... and when it does it .. there is no gears no reverse low 1 low 2 or drive ... but if you shut it off and start it right back up everything works again.... any ideas?
