97 Sable sputters above 3800 rpm runs fine otherwise
 

No CEL. Runs and starts great. Has great power until 3800. I've only noticed this in PARK. I don't push it upto that high of RPM on the road. Idle is a tiny bit rough. So far it could be any of these.


Clean MAF
Clean IAC valve
Seafoam??
Fuel Filter
Fuel injectrion cleaner
O2 sensor
Coil Pack
Catalytic Converter

Has anyone dealt with this and can you narrow it down before I start the money spending proccess? Thanks.

Because I'd rather save money and do it myself. I've saved thousands that way. Mechanics **** people over. Hard to find a good one. Not to mention learning how to do this myself is fun. So there you go...

Found out that it's just the rev limiter.
