My 1997 Tracer was blowing hot air this summer and I found out that the power cable to the compressor/clutch had been snapped. I didn't realize I needed two new motor mounts and apparently the movement of the engine got out of control. Luckily this is all that seemed to get damaged as far as I can tell. I do not know for sure where this cable was but I believe it was shielded below the compressor. Hope that helps! |
