Hello All,

I am a noob to this site but glad to have found it. We have a 98 Sable Wagon that we have owned for 4 years and that has two electrical issues, hopefully someone can suggest remedies.

1) After backing up and putting car in drive, the auto door lock feature does not function leaving interior lights on ( I have since removed the bulbs). It used to function, then functioned irregularly, and now does not function at all.

2) The front passenger window does not roll down. It exhibited similar problems as the auto door lock issue - that is, it worked fine, then very sporadically, and for a few months now it doesn't function at all. Neither driver or passenger switch can operate it.

Any suggestions would be appreciated, and

Well, after searching prior threads for the auto door lock issue, I found a suggestion to spray WD40 into the latching mechanisms and open/close the doors a few times. IT WORKS.

One problem down, one to go.
