Some animal snapped off the radio antenna on my '96 Sable. The little stub that goes into the bottom of the replacement broke below the level of the mounting. I can't get it out.


I thought that maybe the silver flange with the four slots in it might turn, but it looks like I'll break something if I put any more torque on it. What can I do? Remove the whole assembly from inside the trunk??
