greasing rack and pinion

Default

My sable makes this grinding noise when you turn the wheel early in the morning and late at night. Basically, during cooler temperatures. My power steering fluid is not leaking. I thought maybe something needs to be greased but I cant find anything near the ball joints and rack to grease it.

very few of fords orignal equipment parts in the suspension have grease fittings if your getting a noise the best thing you could do is find the part making noise and replace it

if it's more of a whining it's the power steering pump. notorious ford problem.
