My headlights are slightly fogged up after a car wash and was wondering
if I can just take them off the car, heat them up and open them to dry, and re-seal them again? I've done it in my other car but I heard that some headlights can't be opened up due to the kind of adhesive that's sealing them up. If this can be done, what are the steps involved? |
Huge Sable defect on some years. I thought I was one of the lucky ones, until I had the drivers side headlamp fixture replaced with a new one. How wrong I was. I should have either had them either replace the other side, too, or just gotten one from a bone yard. I'm not sure what year your car is, (I'm guessing '96 to '99) but taking some of the Sable years' fixtures apart would allow for cleaning. I just would find some way to fix the original problem. And if you have small black angled rubber hoses on top of each light make sure they are pointed down.
