now I get P0303, P0306, plus P0171 and P0174. Thsi is a DOHC 01 sable w/ the duratech motor in it. Ive had P0401 for a while and that hasn't caused a problem in 5 months. I pulled the upper intake and replaced the plugs and ohmed the wires, they were all w/in spec. My next plan of action is to check for vacuum leaks again (seems to idle perfect) and clean maf. When i go WOT the CEL will flash and also it will studder at part throttle, under heavy load or off a light
. My question is, if it was a MAF, wuuldnt I get misfired on all cylinders instead of just 3 and 6? 3 and 6 are at the end of the fuel rail, i'm wondering if there is a blockage in there causing inadequate flow to 3 and 6 and showing the lean code. Any opinions? Thanks Dave |
think i resolved it, spark on cylinder #3 is weak even w/ new wire. old one ohmed fine so im sure its fine anyway. Going to replace the coil.
