how do i take the governor off my 2003 sable?

i have been researching on how to take off the governor off my sable and i just cant find out how to take it off and its driving me insane. my car could have alot of potential if the gov wouldnt drag me from 110 back to 100. if there is anyone that can tell me i would be grateful and pay u back in some way.

it's electronic. the only way to remove it is change the computer. this means you'd have to install a complete aftermarket system to run the engine AND transmission. You would also have to get one that is OBDII compliant to whatever version of OBDII that is used on your car (CAN, ISO, etc) so you can pass inspections. I'm not sure if just reprogramming your computer will remove the governor routines, but it's also an option. do some research on chip tuners and programmers for your car and see what they will do for you.

besides, unless you're on a track, you shouldn't be going that fast anyhow.

yea i was just wondering, im not sure if i would like to go that fast but it does get very annoying, and i have been looking up chips for my car and i cannot find one that is specifically made for the sable, just the universal ones and i am not sure if i would like to trust one of those. its hard to find things for the sable because i am the only one who has tried to do anything for the sable, but if you know of any websites please let me know.

yeah... I can't find any for your model year. I did find a 2008 Sable Jet Power Chips programmer, but nothing for 2003.
